This League is our internal intramural league teaching children ages 4-8 the beautiful game of Soccer. We use the developmentally appropriate curriculum that emphasizes creative play, enjoyment of sport, and character building lessons. Our sessions range from 30-60 minutes in length, and our coaches are energetic and enthusiastic individuals who love working with kids of all ages.

The players will participate in training one day per week and play games one day during the weekend. The players are taught to share, work in small groups, and develop motor skills with very little assistance. SCYSL promotes individual creativity at an early age and all mistakes are allowed.

This is an introduction to soccer program. We use fun exercises, and exciting small sided games to promote the desire and love of the beautiful sport. We try to maintain a program size of 60 players for this league to be divided into 'South County' teams that train together and participate in small sided games at the same location each week.

Mini kickers
4 to 5 year olds (Pre-K)
Using creative and imaginative games, weekly sessions focus on basic soccer skills like dribbling, passing, and shooting. We also highlight a positive character trait each session such as respect, teamwork, and appreciation. SCYSL will expose your child to the fun of soccer and provide the foundation needed to get started in the sport.

6 to 8 year olds (K-2nd)
